Preheat oven to 350.  Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
In large mixing bowl, combine the following and mix well with a spoon or spatula:
1    19.5 to 19.8 oz. package of plain brownie mix
1    7 oz. package (2 2/3 cups) sweetened shredded coconut
Add the following which have been blended together:
3    Tbs. vegetable oil
2    Tbs. water
2    large eggs
1    tsp. almond extract
Mix well until all dry ingredients are moistened (dough will be stiff) and then shape dough into 1-inch balls.  Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet; flatten slightly with bottom of a glass.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are set (centers will be slightly soft).  Transfer to a wire rack to cool.  Makes about 5 doz. cookies.
