Look for a REALTOR before you look for a HOME.

“I love to laugh with my clients and share their hopes and frustrations as well.  In my mind, there is no such thing as “going by the book.”  There is only going by the heart.

Finding and moving into a new home or city is an exciting but anxious experience. To make that transaction as easy as possible you have only to work with Vickey Steinhauser. Twenty eight years of experience in various aspects of real estate says a lot, but her easy going personality and genuine desire to help her clients find the right home says volumes more. In addition to listing and selling homes, Vickey has had extensive experience as property manager for home rentals for two real estate firms. She has helped many families in the Longview area as well as families transferring to East Texas, find a comfortable home in the heart of the "Piney Woods". Vicky is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI). These designations place her within a small percentage of REALTORS nationwide.

Vickey and Evan have been married for 23 years. Natives of Shreveport, Louisiana, they moved to Longview in 1966, both going to work for Texas Eastman Company. Vicky attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where she majored in business. She and her husband enjoy time with son, Kyle, his spouse and the grandchildren. Vickey and her husband are animal lovers as shown by their rescue of a number of cats and dogs.

Vickey is a sustainer in the Junior League of Longview; past president of the Longview Chapter of the Texas Kidney Foundation; member of First Baptist Church of Longview; member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), and has served on the Board of Directors for the East Texas Area Association of Realtors.
